🎤 Hi, сould you introduce yourself?

Hello, I’m Stacy, newbie in the tech world. This year I’ve chosen to learn Web Development on my own, with free online resources. I also have an Instagramwhere I post daily and share some useful tips for beginners in the tech journey.

🎤 What are you working on?

I’m currently building an Interview Preparation platform, which might help to prepare for theory questions.

🎤 What work experience do you have?

I don’t have any experience related to software development, but I worked with art and management in the past.

🎤 How did you get into your field?

I’ve always admired the field of technology, but never had enough courage to start learning. I guess, I’ve just got this courage while growing and understanding who I am.

🎤 What is your technology stack?

I know JavaScript, and for my projects I use its library React.

🎤 Describe your first project and what is your role in it.

My first project was a simple Weather App. I remember how difficult it seemed to me, asynchronous calls to an API and how difficult it was to read and understand documentation...

🎤 What difficulties did you encounter along the way?

My own mindset. Programming seemed so different from what I used to do, so I wanted to quit many times. But now I’m more than happy that I’ve chosen to learn programming and stayed focused on it.

🎤 What tips would you give to someone wanting to break into tech?

Consistency is my key to successful learning.

🎤 What IT books, resources, and blogs do you read and recommend to others?

I read Medium and Different kind of documentations most of the time 😂  FreeCodeCamp has a lot of great content as well, I’m subscribed to their email newsletter.

🎤 What’s the best way to keep up to date with what you're doing?
